My name is Kiara L’Herpiniere and I am a PhD student in the Griffith ecology lab at Macquarie University. My field of interest is focused on the behavioural ecology of birds, specifically exploring the interaction between climatic variability and female investment in egg size and composition. My study species of choice is the Chestnut-crowned Babbler (Pomatostomus ruficeps), a cooperatively breeding bird endemic to semi-arid and central eastern Australia.
